Building permits go before the Planning and Zoning board which meets every 2nd Tuesday of the month. The Board must approve the permits before building begins. The building company is required to have a city license and to call 1-800-DIG-RITE.

Enhanced Enterprise Zone of Crawford County
Enhanced Enterprise Zone Board Information
The Crawford County Enhanced Enterprise Zone Advisory Board accepts applications from interested parties wishing to take opportunity of the tax abatement for businesses in the Crawford County Missouri Enhanced Enterprise Zone that meet the minimum requirements. After application is approved by Advisory Board the application and required documents are presented (or not) to the Crawford County Commission for consideration.
Follow up meetings are held in the Commission Board Room of the Crawford County Courthouse each Tuesday morning of the month. An appointment to address the Commission board is required. Contact that office at phone# 573-775-3539. You should also contact this office for applications and other information.
